Life Equations #15

John Patrick Shanley is an Academy-award winning screenwriter and in the preface to his play Doubt, he observes how there is an “age-old practice of the wise: Doubt.” What does he mean? As Shanley explains, “The beginning of change is the moment of Doubt… Doubt requires more courage than conviction does, and more energy; because conviction is a resting place and doubt is infinite—it is a passionate exercise.”

Our 15th Life Equation is Doubt = Change.

Meaning, we should not fear doubt but frame it as an invitation to invite change into our life.
