Yesterday, I read about a stained glass maker who explained that as he constructed his windows it involved three ways of seeing. First, there is the need to see what image will shape the window. Second, there is the need to fill the window with color. Finally, the window comes to life by seeing it in the light.
When I read that description it occurred to me how this process also applies to our own lives. We discern what images we want inside our lives. We then fill in the colors. Finally, we place our lives in light’s path.
