I continue to marvel at the transformation of Kamala Harris from the candidate we saw in the 2020 primary to the candidate for president in 2024. From her radiant smile to confident speaking style, it is clear that she has grown over these past four years.
One of my favorite insights comes from UCLA basketball coach John Wooden who said, “When opportunity comes, it’s too late to prepare.” Kamala’s growth did not occur overnight, but she has clearly been preparing for a moment that she might have the opportunity to meet.
Is there something that you would like to do one day; a person you might like to become? Today is the day to begin to prepare for that future opportunity.
