Over the weekend I read a wonderful insight from Brianna Wiest who teaches there is a part of us that knows what we need to do next to realize our dreams, we just need the faith to do it. And this faith is different than, as she writes, “predicting, projecting, or becoming attached to uncertain possibilities.”
Every religion teaches about the importance of faith. I like how music producer Rick Rubin suggests there is a kind of faith he called “experimental.” Meaning, the role of faith is to give us the courage to do an experiment, because it is from experiments all great discoveries are made and leaps forward are taken.
