Choosing A Cursive Life

Over lunch yesterday a friend was reflecting on how the act of writing in cursive links letters together and can be beautiful.

Now, ordinarily, we type words on a keyboard; sometimes we use voice dictation; and only rarely write with pencil and paper. But if we think about it, in this kind of communication each letter stands alone and is not connected to what came before or after.

But what might happen if we choose to perceive the cursive that exists in life around us and even communicate that way? If we took a moment to discern how moments are linked together and when we link them ourselves how they can be in fact, beautiful.

What might change and how might we feel, if we choose to live a cursive life?
