I watched two men walk towards two kinds of doors in order to exit a department store – turnstile doors or one with hinges.
Each was clear in their decision and had no hesitation. One slowed his gait and entered the turnstile door and the other barely broke his stride and went through the hinge door.
I thought, the kind of door we choose is interesting.
Are we willing to slow down to walk in a semi-circle to exit a building (and perhaps in a small way help with heating costs) or do we proceed forward in the straightest line straight possible.
And of course, if we think about it, how we do anything is how we do everything.
